What is the difference between equal and unequal angles?
Equal angles have both legs the same length (e.g. 75×75). Unequal angles have legs of different lengths (e.g. 75×50) and are used where load directions are asymmetric — typically lintels and brackets.
What grades are MS angles supplied in?
IS 2062 E250 BR is the default for general structural use. E350 is specified for higher-stress applications. Galvanised angles are available on request for towers and outdoor structures.
