What's the difference between IS 4923 and IS 1161 sections?
IS 4923 covers square (SHS) and rectangular (RHS) hollow sections. IS 1161 covers circular (CHS) tubular sections for structural use. EN 10219 is the European equivalent often specified in modern projects.
Are these sections available galvanised?
Yes — we can supply pre-galvanised hollow sections (GP), and we also undertake hot-dip galvanizing job work for black hollow sections at our facility.
